What we collect

Information you send us. When you submit a quote form or email us: your name, phone number, email address, and any case details you choose to provide — including a defendant's name, date of birth, jail or county, and bond amount.
Information you give us on the phone. The same categories, gathered verbally so we can locate an inmate, confirm a bond, and prepare paperwork.
Basic technical data. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry and provide a quote.
To locate an inmate, verify a bond amount, and prepare and post a bail bond.
To meet our legal, regulatory and contractual obligations as a bail bond business, including obligations to courts and jails.
To contact you about an existing bond, court dates, and check-in requirements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who we share it with

Only where necessary to do the work or to comply with the law: courts, jails and law enforcement agencies in connection with a bond; sureties and insurers; payment processors; and our service providers. Each is given only what the task requires. The third-party services currently used on this site are: FormSubmit (delivers quote-form submissions to our email), Tidio (live chat), Google Maps (embedded map), and our static hosting provider.

Form submissions

Quote forms on this site are delivered by a third-party form service (FormSubmit) which transmits the contents to our business email address. Please do not send payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive identifiers through the web form. Call us instead.

Live chat

This site includes a live chat widget provided by Tidio. If you open the chat, anything you type — including your name, contact details and case information — is transmitted to and stored by Tidio so our agents can reply. Tidio sets its own cookies to keep your conversation together between pages. Do not send payment card numbers or Social Security numbers through chat.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The live chat widget (Tidio) and embedded Google Maps content set cookies under their own providers' policies. If we add web analytics or advertising conversion tracking in future, this section will be updated before it goes live.

Retention

Inquiry records are kept only as long as needed to respond and to meet legal and regulatory record-keeping requirements applicable to bail bond businesses in Texas. Bond files are retained for the periods those requirements specify.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete an inquiry that did not result in a bond. Contact islandbailbonds@icloud.com or call 281-900-2404. Some records must be retained where the law requires it.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The revision date at the top will always reflect the current version.
